About Me

I'm a software engineer who has a strong passion for helping others. Not only does this passion show in the various different volunteer programs that I am involved in, but also in my reason for taking a leap into the world of software engineering.

My goal as a software engineer is to be involved in applications that are clean and easy to use to make the life of the user easier.

With my current knowledge of "an array" of coding skills, as well as my eagerness and ability to learn new things, I know I can make this goal a reality.

Side note: I love playing sports and being active!

More about me

I graduated from CUNY Queens College with a dual major in Corporate Finance and Economics, working as a financial analyst at a commercial mortgage brokerage shortly after.

While working, I began gaining an interest in sofware engineering, which led me to taking a leap of faith into a highly selective coding bootcamp called App Academy where my entire life was consumed with code for about 80 hours a week for 4 months.

Putting social media (and other electronic distractions) away for 4 months can really go a long way. The amount of material I was able to consume and understand throughout the program almost came as a surprise to me, and I am excited to apply my new skills in my next postion.
